In May of this <\/span>year a new law was passed in South Carolina to update child passenger\u00a0<\/span>restraint policies.<\/a>\u00a0The new law is composed of several changes. One of the major changes is how long children should ride in <\/span>rear facing seats. The law now states that children two years old and under will need to be restrained in <\/span>rear facing car seats. This is until they exceed the height and weight limits detailed by the car seat manufacturer.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/header>\n

There are six different types of car seats:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  4. Combination<\/li>\n
  5. High-backed booster<\/li>\n
  6. Backless booster<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
